RAPH’s debut EP, the first in a new series for 199, is here. Across 21 minutes, it captures the pensive reflections of this curious time, drawing on the sunny and the dark, the hopeful and the scary. Organic and electronic sounds marry somewhere between techno and hip hop.

This is such an exciting and significant project for us for many reasons, not least because Flynn is one of our closest friends and he’s finally getting the representation he deserves. As our first physical release, it feels like a landmark day in the young history of 199, and we hope as many of you make yourselves a part of it as possible by buying a copy.

Electrified hybrid of mid-paced Acid and Ghettotech. I’m a fan cuz these type of tracks remind me of Miami Bass which there is not enough of. The acid bass lines are punchy and catchy as hell. Mitch Mitcherson
